Nightmares

There are nightmares. . .

You can’t swim, your arms won’t move, you are clinging to a bit of flotsam in a fast-flowing river, carried toward a water fall . . .

. . . and nightmares. . .

The plane’s  pilot has died of a heart attack, you are speeding toward the side of a mountain, your seat-belt buckle is jammed . . .

. . . and nightmares . . .

You are running from a hideous monster when your feet become mired in quicksand . . .

. . .and nightmares . . .

It is election day, 2016, and the choices on the presidential ballot are Hillary Clinton (D) and Donald Trump (R).

  1. Well said Tom. If Hillary or Trump win, maybe instead of a wall to keep illegals out....we all move across the Rio Grande and keep future Americans fed up with our Federal Govt. on the US side.

While I am no fan of Socialism, Bernie has so much more integrity than the 2 that are leading at this time.

Could be interesting Party Conventions come this summer. The Democratic establishment is doing everything possible to stall Hillary's indictment and push aside Bernie including using the Superdelegate card.

The Republican establishment fears Cruz and Trump and are trying to find an avenue for Rubio. If Trump does not have the delegates to get through the 1st ballot, even though they dispise Cruz, I can forsee some sort of marriage to combine Cruz/Rubio/Bush/Kasick delegates on a second vote.

  2. Clinton is definitely a flawed candidate (I'm shocked, shocked), but she would accomplish more good than any of the others. For me, it's a no-brainer.

    1. What possible "good" would HRC accomplish?

    2. Me, too, Boyce; me, too. She has worked all her life for progressive causes. She is a worker bee, not a politician. Works hard, knows her stuff.
